Coeur d'Alene the Beautiful

Abbreviated as CDA, makes the spelling easier to remember, and for one hell of a Brand Logo well known to the beautiful people of the unforgettable town. Located in the panhandle of North Idaho, once a secret, has now become one of the greatest boom towns of America.

Before the 1980's the population consisted of generational northern idaho families, living off the land whether that be farming, mining, or the timber industry. But it didn't last long, as word got out of the serenity and slower pace of life, people from cities all around began to uproot their families and take root in the sought after communities north idaho had to offer. After the building of the Coeur d'Alene Resort in 1986 and the popularity of Schweitzer Ski Resort grew, the area began to gain its title as a tourist destination.

Although the growth in the scenic town was big from the 80's to the 2000s, the last 5 years has been like nothing the area has ever seen. You must be wondering what could be so great about a little lake town? I'll tell you!

Night Life

This growing small town with now a population of about 56,000, is sitting right on a gorgeous lake in the mountains. The natural lake was created by floods about 15,000 years ago, a time when ice covered lands to the north, but the depth was increased by the construction of the Post Falls Dam in 1906.

Todays Coeur d'Alene is full of the happiest and most polite people. Maybe its because they get to enjoy the best of our beautiful earths spoils everyday. From snowy, white Christmas' too hot summers, you can enjoy water sports on the 25 mile long lake and snowmobiling in the plentiful baron roads of the mountains. The adventures are truly endless.

Hiking, Hunting, fishing; the list goes on for outdoor activities, but that's not the only reason the city dwellers are flooding in. The Cost of living is about 40% cheaper than California for example, not to mention the many other issues going on over there but we aren't here to talk about that. You came to a bars blog, the best bar in Coeur d'Alene as a matter of fact's blog so lets talk about the party Coeur d'Alene has to offer.

Every night is alive in Coeur d'Alene, between various venues and the countless watering holes, you can find a live performance almost any night. Especially in the summer time you will find the streets full of open restaurants with delicious foods, laid back lounges, simple dive bars and packed club like bars.
